In Ndayane, one of the last truly authentic Senegalese coastlines, the intensive surfing course combines technical progress, immersion in village life, and the discovery of unspoiled nature. The beach, vast and uncrowded, offers the perfect playground: sandbanks, long, regular waves, and a peaceful environment. The instructor begins each stay with an assessment and divides participants into small groups based on their experience. During one or two daily sessions, trainees alternate between technical exercises on the sand and in the sea: balance, navigating the line-up, reading the waves, and equipment management. Corrections are given in real time and reinforced by video analysis. Progress is measured each day during group challenges to stimulate competition and confidence.
Outside of the waves, the course punctuates the days with moments of sharing: walks to the fishing port, visits to the market, workshops to discover coastal wildlife, fresh fish tastings, and yoga or stretching sessions at sunset. Accommodation, provided in a guest house or local surf camp, encourages conviviality and the discovery of the Petite Côte’s gastronomy. Between sessions, the beach comes alive with encounters, games, and moments of relaxation, with the village children sometimes sharing their skills on the beach.
The package is suitable for both families and individuals. The coaching ensures safety and flexibility to adapt the intensity according to fatigue, level, and expectations.
