General Terms and Conditions of Sale

Que Faire Sénégal

Last updated: 22 September 2026

1. Preamble

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter “GTC”) govern the relationship between:

  • Novazeo, the company operating the Que Faire Sénégal platform,
  • and any person making a booking via the website.

The purpose of the platform is to offer, promote and facilitate the booking of tourist, cultural and leisure activities in Senegal.

Novazeo acts as an intermediary, putting the client in touch with the provider.

2. Purpose

These GTC set out:

  • the booking terms
  • the payment terms
  • the cancellation terms
  • the responsibilities of each party

3. Acceptance of the terms

Any booking made via the platform implies full acceptance of these GTC.

The client acknowledges having read the terms before confirming.

4. How the platform works

Que Faire Sénégal lists activities offered by independent providers.

The service contract is concluded directly between:

  • the client
  • and the provider

Novazeo does not act as the direct supplier of the service.

5. Booking process

5.1 Choosing the activity

The client chooses an activity on the platform based on the information available.

5.2 Payment

The client only pays a booking service fee equal to 20% of the provider’s price (10% when the price is set by an authority), plus Senegalese VAT on this fee only.

The balance of the service is paid directly to the provider.

5.3 Confirmation

The booking is confirmed after:

  • the payment has been validated
  • a confirmation has been received (WhatsApp and/or e-mail)

6. Prices and payment

Prices shown on the platform are the total price of the activity.

When booking, the client pays Que Faire Sénégal a booking service fee equal to 20% of the provider’s price, plus VAT. The displayed price is the provider’s price plus 10%; for an activity whose price is set by the State, the displayed price is the provider’s price, with no mark-up, and the fee is 10% of that price. In all cases, the balance paid to the provider is 90% of their price. This fee confirms the request and puts the client in touch with the provider.

👉 The balance is paid directly to the provider on the day of the activity.

Depending on the activity, the provider may ask for an additional deposit to secure the booking. Its refund terms are those of the provider; they are given to the client before any payment.

👉 The total amount paid by the client (platform + provider) always matches the advertised price.

7. Cancellation terms

Each activity belongs to a cancellation category, determined by its type of activity and shown on its page. If the booking is cancelled within its category’s deadline, the booking service fee is refunded in full; after the deadline or in case of no-show, it is not refunded.

  • Flexible activities: free cancellation up to 24 h before (workshops, classes, training, treatments, coaching, and simple non-motorised activities: kayak, paddle, canoe, surf, pedal boat, bike).
  • Semi-structured activities: up to 48 h before (guided tours, day trips, transport).
  • Structured activities: up to 72 h before (motorised vehicles and supervised outings: quad, buggy, jet ski, karting, diving, towed sports, horse riding, non-private boat trips).
  • Private or tailor-made activities: at least 72 h before (private boat, private excursion, group, event); the provider may set a longer deadline, which is given before payment.

The full list of activities and their category is published on the Cancellation policy page. Deadlines are calculated in Senegal local time, from the start time of the activity.

8. Cancellation by the provider

If the provider cancels, the client chooses between a full refund of the booking service fee and postponing the activity.

9. Force majeure

In the event of:

  • weather conditions
  • a safety issue
  • an unforeseeable event

👉 the booking may be:

  • postponed
  • or refunded

10. Liability

Novazeo acts as an intermediary.

As such, the platform cannot be held liable for:

  • the quality of the service
  • any incidents
  • the provider’s behaviour

The provider is solely responsible.

11. Client’s commitment

The client agrees to:

  • arrive on time
  • follow instructions
  • behave respectfully

Any breach may lead to the service being cancelled without refund.

12. Commitment and non-circumvention

Any confirmed booking implies the client’s commitment to take part in the service with the provider under the agreed conditions.

The booking service fee is not refunded in case of cancellation after the deadline (article 7), no-show, or any attempt to bypass the platform to book directly with the provider.

13. Personal data

Data is processed in accordance with the regulations in force.

It is used only for:

  • managing bookings
  • customer relations

14. Intellectual property

All content on the website is protected.

Any reproduction without authorisation is prohibited.
