The surf trip to Toubab Dialaw takes you to the heart of the artists’ village, where wild beaches, red cliffs, and a creative atmosphere set the tone for each day. Every morning, the local guide selects the best spot: the tubular left-hand break at Toubab Dialaw, the unspoiled beach break at Pierre de Lisse, the sandbanks at Yène, and the fun waves at La Somone or Ndayane, depending on the weather and tide. Sessions alternate between improving your skills at secret spots or those accessible on foot, technical advice, video analysis, and moments of sharing.
Between surfing sessions, the trip invites you to explore the village: artists’ workshops, colorful markets, or walks along the cliffs. The Pierre de Lisse stage combines hiking, photography, and immersion in a little-visited site, ideal for progressing without pressure. Throughout the road trip, each spot offers its own experience: hollow waves for the more daring, soft sandy beaches for riders wishing to improve at a gentle pace.
Accommodation is arranged in a creative surf camp or guest house, with full board and lively evenings centered around Senegalese cuisine or creative workshops. Transfers between spots are managed by pickup truck or minibus depending on the size of the group, and equipment is provided (boards, wetsuits, insurance) or available for rent depending on the package. The guide ensures a friendly atmosphere, safety, and adaptation to the weather. Family packages, private groups, video analysis, and yoga are available as options.
The ideal season runs from October to May, with regular swells, mild heat, and a relaxed atmosphere.
