Reservation process

Booking an activity on Que Faire Sénégal is simple and transparent. Our goal is to provide a smooth experience for the customer and clear management for our local partners.

In summary

  1. You choose your activity
  2. You submit your request (no immediate payment required)
  3. The provider confirms or proposes another date
  4. You receive a link to pay a 20% deposit
  5. You pay the remaining 80% on-site on the day of the activity
  6. You rate the provider after the experience

1. Selecting the activity

The customer chooses the service they want from the many activities available on the platform: excursions, walks, cultural experiences, culinary discoveries, etc.
Each listing provides a detailed description, duration, departure location, price, and any specific conditions related to the activity.

2. Choosing the date and number of participants

The customer then provides:

  • the desired date,
  • the number of participants,
  • and, if applicable, any additional information (age, level, comments, preferences).

This information is sent to the provider to verify actual availability on the requested date.

3. Cart validation

Once the activity and desired date are selected, the customer validates their cart and enters their contact information (name, email, WhatsApp number).

At this stage, no payment is required. The site simply informs that a 20% deposit of the total amount will be requested when the date is finally confirmed by the provider.

This step corresponds to a booking request, which will then be confirmed or adjusted according to availability.

4. Acknowledgment of request

Once the cart is validated, the customer automatically receives:

  • a confirmation email, and
  • a WhatsApp message informing them that their request is being processed.

At the same time, Que Faire Sénégal notifies the local provider to review the request.

5. Provider validation or proposal

The provider reviews the request and can:

  • confirm the requested date, or
  • 🔄 propose another date or alternative slot.

The customer is notified by WhatsApp and email of the provider’s response.

If the date is confirmed, a secure payment link is sent to pay the 20% deposit of the total amount.

This payment can be made online via credit card, Wave, or Orange Money, and allows the reservation to be definitively confirmed.

6. Final confirmation and provider contact

Once the deposit is paid, the customer receives:

  • a confirmation email and WhatsApp message,
  • the provider’s contact details (name, number, meeting location, schedule),
  • and a complete summary of the booked service.

The provider is simultaneously informed and prepares the activity.

7. Payment of the balance on the day of the activity

The remaining balance (80%) is paid directly to the provider on-site, on the day of the activity.

Payment can be made in cash, via Wave, Orange Money, or any other method agreed with the provider.

This system ensures a direct and fair relationship between the customer and the local provider while maintaining a secure framework through Que Faire Sénégal.

8. Activity execution

The customer arrives at the agreed time and location.
The provider delivers the service according to the provided information.
In case of delay or unexpected events, the customer must notify the provider via the provided WhatsApp number.

9. Evaluation and feedback

After the activity, the customer receives a WhatsApp message inviting them to rate the provider and share their feedback.

This evaluation helps ensure quality of services and recognize local partners.
