The 4×4 safari in the Bandia Reserve is an essential experience for discovering the wildlife and flora of the Senegalese savanna. On board an all-terrain vehicle, accompanied by a wildlife guide, you will explore 3,500 hectares of open forest adorned with majestic baobabs and acacias. This safari, suitable for all ages, offers the chance to observe iconic African animals in their natural habitat: giraffes, white rhinos, zebras, buffaloes, antelopes, Derby elands, gazelles, ostriches, green and patas monkeys, kob antelopes, impalas, crocodiles, and a wide variety of birds (eagles, herons, flamingos, vultures).
The tour typically lasts 2 hours and follows the pace of the guide, who shares stories and knowledge about each species encountered. Safaris are available in the morning or afternoon to enjoy the active animals and the light of the savanna. The route sometimes includes the observation of crocodiles and turtles, as well as a stop near water points to admire the animals. The entry fee for the reserve includes the ticket, the 4×4 vehicle, the wildlife guide, and the safari route on Bandia’s tracks.
