One activity, one group, and nobody else
A boat trip with your colleagues, or with cousins who have come from far away, is nothing like a shared version of the same trip: the programme and the departure time are set around you. You choose the activity, we book it for your group alone with the team that runs it, with a quote based on the number of guests.
Who is it for?
Groups of friends: a pirogue on the Somone lagoon, quad biking at Lac Rose (Pink Lake), a private beach. Companies: a percussion workshop to break the ice, a boat trip after the seminar. Families, when you need an activity that suits grandparents and children alike. Private events: birthdays, reunions, end-of-year parties.
What can you book privately?
Private bookings cover two areas, the Dakar Region and the Petite Côte, and five themes from the catalogue: water sports and sea activities, excursions and adventures, nature and culture discoveries, local classes and workshops, wellness and relaxation. The most common requests:
- Boat and pirogue trips: boat trips (sunset, islands & sport fishing), boat cruises & boat hire, pirogue trips. Their price is usually per boat rather than per person: the boat’s capacity matters as much as the size of the group.
- Workshops: drumming workshops, Senegalese cooking classes, African dance classes, dyeing, textiles & sewing.
- Excursions and adventures: quad & buggy, safari, guided cultural tours. Quads and buggies are often priced per craft.
- Relaxation days: beach & relaxation days and treatments for a group.
- Group transport, if you need it: mention it in your request. A vehicle with driver is priced per vehicle rather than per person.
How does the request work?
- You describe your project in the form below. Sending it is free and commits you to nothing.
- We get back to you with a quote, drawn up with the team running the activity, based on the number of guests and the date you would like. If the date does not work, another slot is suggested.
- You accept the quote and pay 20% to secure your booking, by bank card, Wave or Orange Money: this is the booking fee.
- You receive the contact details of the person welcoming you, the meeting point and the time.
- On the day, the balance is paid on site, directly to the team welcoming you.
Any official fees (park entry, regulated crossing, local tax) are not part of the quote: they are payable on site and not included in the price, and the quote flags them when there are any.
Do you live in Senegal? Create your resident account before sending your request: the resident rate gives up to 30% off, depending on the activity.
What to tell us
The more precise your request, the more accurate the quote. The form asks for:
- the location: Dakar Region or Petite Côte;
- the type of activities: one or more of the five themes;
- the number of adults and the number of children;
- your phone number, ideally one you also use on WhatsApp.
The additional information field, which is required, does the rest. Include:
- the activity you are interested in, or simply the idea (“a boat trip”, “a workshop for the team”) if you are unsure;
- the date you would like, and whether it is flexible;
- the children’s ages and where the group will be setting off from;
- the occasion: seminar, birthday, family reunion;
- any particular needs: language, reduced mobility, group transport, meals, a fixed time.
