The surf trip in Yène takes the village and its lagoon as a base and fans out each day to the nearby spots: Toubab Dialaw, Pierre de Lisse, Somone. Yène is one of the most versatile beaches on the Petite Côte. Each day the programme alternates between technical sessions on the village beach break, trips to the lagoon and expeditions to the more secluded waves of Toubab Dialaw, Pierre de Lisse or Somone. Each morning, the local guide selects the best spot and gives personal advice, safety, video analysis and individual feedback. One to two surf sessions are planned each day.

The Yène lagoon, rich in birds, offers moments of paddleboarding, nature walks or wildlife discovery. Meals are taken in the village, at the fishermen’s market or as a picnic on the sand. In the afternoon, you visit the craftspeople and explore the mangrove paths. Equipment is included or hired, with video analysis, family packs, stays personalised to your level, an introduction for children and a free photo souvenir. Full board is an option, and daily transfers are organised.

If you live in Dakar, it is a stay of a few days on a versatile beach, with a guide who chooses the spot according to the swell. If you are visiting, it is the chance to surf several spots without changing base.

Yène is a village on the Petite Côte, 40 km south of Dakar, in the Rufisque department. The nearby spots are Toubab Dialaw, with its cliffs, Somone, with its lagoon, and Ndayane, with its big beach. The Dakar region brings together the area’s activities.
