A Senegalese wrestling lesson in Dakar, in a wrestling stable on the Bay of Hann: one or two hours with the coach, late in the afternoon, to discover the country's national sport from the inside, beginners welcome. The price is per person, and the stable welcomes you from Monday to Saturday.
In Senegal, wrestling is not practised in an anonymous gym: it is lived in the stables (écuries), the teams where wrestlers train together under a coach, sometimes from their teens. This is where the athletes who later fill the stadiums are made, and it is the setting for this lesson. The stable is based in Dakar, on the Bay of Hann, and has been active since 1995: more than thirty years of practice, far more than a leisure class.
