A facial in Saly answers what sun, salt and heat do to the skin: a diagnosis, a scrub, a suitable mask and a facial massage, with products designed for the tropical climate. Treatments, spa and towel are included, individual or as a duo.
The ritual, step by step
The treatment begins with a personal diagnosis to identify the skin’s needs: lack of radiance, sensitivity, need for hydration or an anti-fatigue effect. It continues with a gentle cleanse, a scrub or exfoliation to smooth and purify the skin, the application of a suitable mask (soothing, moisturising or purifying), a massage of the face and neck, then a moisturising or protective cream.
Depending on the option, a light finishing touch may be added at the end of the session: natural corrections, lip moisturising, a luminous touch. This is a natural finish, not full make-up.
Conditions and precautions
The treatments are adapted to sensitive skin, all skin types and the hot climate. Products and accessories (towels, headband, treatments) are provided. It is advisable to avoid heavy make-up right after an intensive treatment. You do not need to arrive with your make-up removed: the ritual begins with a cleanse. The treatment can be individual or as a duo depending on slots, and a cold drink may be offered after the session. Arrive a few minutes early to settle in calmly.
It is better to book the treatment at the end of the day, once sun exposure is over. If you live in Dakar and are spending a weekend in Saly, it is a moment for yourself to slip between two swims. If you are visiting, it is the treatment that repairs skin tired by several days at the beach.
Saly, a beach resort
Saly, about 80 km south of Dakar, is the beach resort of the Petite Côte, with a calm, seaside atmosphere.
Around Saly
After the treatment, you can extend the relaxation with a massage, a pedicure or a private beach day. The fishing port of Mbour and the Somone lagoon are close by for a walk.
