A pedicure and manicure in Dakar covers everything you expect from a beauty salon: foot care, hand care, but also gel, tips and semi-permanent polish. Sessions last from 30 minutes to 1 hour, individual or as a duo, with treatments, spa and towel included.
Feet, hands, nails: the choice
The menu has 23 options. Among them:
- Foot care: simple pedicure, oriental pedicure, hot-stone pedicure, anti-cracking pedicure.
- Hand care: manicure, vitamin C manicure, paraffin manicure, and the pedicure plus manicure option.
- Nail application: tips, tips with semi-permanent polish (resin or gel), gel application and gel infill.
Priced per person. For the care options, the typical routine begins with a scented warm bath, followed by cleansing, exfoliation, an anti-callus treatment if needed, a relaxing massage of the feet and calves and moisturising. The finish is your choice: natural, classic polish, nude or colour.
Practical details
The treatments adapt to sensitive or damaged feet. Polish is optional and can be added at the end of the session; if you choose a polished finish, come with open shoes so you do not smudge it. All accessories are provided: towels, baths, hygienic tools. A relaxing foot massage is included in most options. Sessions can be done as a duo depending on slots, and a hot or cold drink may be offered after the treatment.
If you live in Dakar, it is an appointment that prepares you for a ceremony or an evening out, or that adds to a day of pampering. If you are visiting, it is a pause between two visits, especially useful after days of walking in sandals.
In Dakar: neighbourhoods and wishes
Depending on the address, the day can continue in Ngor or the Almadies, by the sea, or in the Plateau, for galleries and cafes.
Extending the beauty appointment
To round off the afternoon, make-up, hairdressing or eyelash extensions go well with a manicure. A massage adds a moment of relaxation.
