Horse riding in Toubab Dialaw means a stable that offers a bit of everything: led rides for the youngest, horse rides between cliffs and beaches, lessons and courses for all levels. The helmet is provided, and each option is priced per person.
Fourteen options, from pony to course
Fourteen options are offered, all priced per person:
- Led rides: a short ride (20 minutes) or a long ride (30 minutes), on a pony or a horse, for the youngest or as a first taste.
- Horse rides: 45 minutes, 1 h 30 or a half day, between cliffs and beaches.
- Riding lessons: 1 hour on a pony or a horse, single or on a 5- or 10-session pass.
- Riding course: a half day.
The stable welcomes all levels: the beginner starts with a led ride, the regular rider chooses the ride, and those who want to progress take lessons on a pass. The helmet is provided. Bring closed shoes, long trousers, water and sun cream.
If you live in Dakar, it is the weekend stable, less than an hour from the capital: you take the children for a pony ride, or you take lessons regularly thanks to the passes. If you are visiting, it is a way to see the cliffs from the saddle.
Toubab Dialaw, an artists’ village on the cliffs
Toubab Dialaw lies about 40 km south of Dakar, on the Petite Côte, between Bargny and Popenguine. This Lebou village, set against one of Senegal’s ochre cliffs, blends contemporary art and mystic legends, in a setting of unique cliffs and serene beaches, far from the bustle of the capital. It belongs to the commune of Yenne, in the Dakar Region.
