The multi-dive pack in Dakar brings together, over two to three days, several dives on the underwater sites of the capital and of Ngor, from introductory dives to specialties. An instructor supervises every dive, the guide and equipment are provided, and meals are not included.

Several dives, several levels

The package is for people who want to dive more than once, rather than taste a single dive. The programme adapts to everyone’s level: beginners make supervised introductory dives, while experienced divers reach more technical reliefs and greater depths. About twenty packages exist, depending on the site (Dakar or Ngor) and the goal.

In Dakar: beginner diver (2 dives), supervised diver (4 dives), autonomous Open Water level, refresher, buoyancy work, and a pack that combines two of these options. In Ngor: beginner, autonomous level, refresher, buoyancy, Deep and Nitrox specialties, and Stress & Rescue. The certification courses and further training are led by an SSI instructor, and dives and teaching are included depending on the package.

The sites and the schedule

Dives take place at varied sites around the city: the Ngor plateau, the Cargo wrecks, the Soumbedioune cliff or rocky areas of the Plateau. A typical stay starts with an orientation dive in Ngor Bay, continues with two dives on the second day, often one in the morning and one in the afternoon, and ends with an exploration dive followed by a debrief. Equipment is provided and maintained on site.

The guide and equipment are included; meals are not.

Diving in Dakar

Dakar is a peninsula where you dive at the foot of the city. Ngor is the natural anchor point, with its island and its beach, and the capital offers a wider urban setting alongside: the Plateau and the Dakar region. If you live here, the pack lets you pass a level or get back in the water without going far; if you are visiting, it combines diving and discovering the city, with the Mamelles lighthouse or a sunset on the western Corniche between two sessions.
