After the beach, a massage in Saly: six types of one-hour massage, from relaxing to hot stone, individual or as a duo, in the beach resort of the Petite Côte. Treatments, spa and towel are included, and the oils are suited to sensitive skin.
Six one-hour massages
All sessions last 1 hour and the rate is per person. The menu offers:
- Relaxing massage: enveloping movements, gentle strokes and a soothing rhythm.
- Swedish massage, toning massage and energy massage: firmer pressure to invigorate the body.
- Belly massage, a treatment focused on the abdominal area.
- Hot-stone massage: the heat of the stones complements the work of the hands.
The relaxation massage can also be chosen in a traditional version, with techniques inspired by African know-how, targeted work on tense areas and gentle stretches. The session begins with a chat to understand what you need: general relaxation, stress relief, muscle recovery or simply a moment of comfort.
How it unfolds and the little extras
The oils are suited to sensitive skin and lightly scented, and the towels are warm. You can choose your soundscape, soft music or natural sounds, and the treatment takes place in a softly lit space or a bright room depending on the mood you want. A hot or cold drink may be offered after the treatment. Arrive 5 to 10 minutes early, avoid a heavy meal just beforehand and mention any discomfort or sensitivity so the pressure can be adapted.
Duo massages are possible depending on slots. Home massages are also offered in Dakar, Thiès and Mbour, in addition to the salon.
If you live in Dakar and are spending the weekend on the coast, it is the break that adds to the beach, without leaving the resort. If you are visiting, it is a quiet moment between two days of activities.
Saly, the beach resort of the Petite Côte
Saly is about 80 km south of Dakar, on the Petite Côte, with its beaches, its hotels and its wellness spaces.
After the massage
You can extend the relaxation with a private beach day, a pedicure or a visit to the Somone lagoon. The fishing port of Mbour and Saly’s craft village are close by for an end-of-day stroll.
