The Saint-Louis, Djoudj and Lompoul 3-day tour is the grand tour of the north: the visit of Saint-Louis, Djoudj bird park or the Langue de Barbarie depending on the season, and the Lompoul desert, with two nights on site. Full board is included, with door-to-door pick-up from the Petite Côte.

Three days, three landscapes

The tour begins with Saint-Louis and its guided visit, then picks its park according to the season: Djoudj, the national bird park, or the Langue de Barbarie park, at the river mouth. It ends in the Lompoul desert, with its ochre dunes. Accommodation and full board are included for the two nights.

Drinks are not included, and the quad is optional, paid on site. If the tour goes through Djoudj, park entry, the compulsory park guide and the shared pirogue ride are official fees: they are payable on site, on top of the price.

Departures and conditions

Door-to-door pick-up is included from the Petite Côte (Saly, Somone, Ngaparou), and possible from Dakar with a transport supplement. Cancellation is free up to 72 hours before; after that, the amount paid is not refunded.

The north in a single trip

Saint-Louis lies in the far north-west of the country, close to the Mauritanian border, in the river delta; the town is organised around the island of Ndar, the Langue de Barbarie and Sor. The Louga region is home to Lompoul, a Grande Cote village halfway between Dakar and Saint-Louis, with its desert of dunes.
